History:

Founded in 1983 and School was named as Colombo Overseas School.It was located in 134,Kajugahawatte,Gothatuwa New Town, near Rajagiriya,a suburb of Colombo, Srilanka. The school was open on 1983 January 01.The founders were well known scholars, Dr.Udaya Perera Nawagamuwa (Colombo Overseas School), N.B Perera Principal (Mathematics,CombineDharmapala Vidyalaya Pannipitiya, Nalanda College Colombo 10, Tholangamuwa Central College, Tholangamuwa, Anuruddha Vidyalaya Nawalapitiya, Hikkaduwa Central College Hikkaduwa, Gurulugomi Vidyalaya Homagama) G.C. Viola perera (Dharmapala Vidyalaya Pannipitiya, Nalamda college Colombo 10 Tholangamuwa central college Tholangamuwa, Anuruddha Vidyalaya Nawalapitiya, Vidyakara Vidyalaya Maharagama, Thurstan college Colombo 7).To cope up with the higher Student population, in 2003, The School was relocated in the city limits of Colombo, at 24/4, First lane, Gothami Road in Colombo 8.The school is equipped with modern buildings, to face new trends in the educational field. The school had taken steps to equipped it's own laboratories,libraries and a play area to the students.
